Every 3-years the IOA honors individuals who have embodied the true spirit of leadership, service and compassion in the field of ostomy care. This is done through the vesting of the Archie Vinitsky Award, Professional Services Award (Harikesh Buch Award) and the 20/40 Young Adult Award (Linda Aukett Award) to deserving individuals who have tirelessly served people in their designated capacity.
It is the absolute privilege of the IOA representatives to celebrate the outstanding service of Richard Mcnair as recipient of the award for 2026.
A nomination form was submitted by Ostomy New Zealand for Richard Mcnair for the ASPOA Region. There were other nominations too coming from EOA. When the final result came out as released by the lead convenor and former AV awardee as judges. Richard was chosen as the awardee for 2026.
The awards will be presented in Bogor, Indonesia during the ASPOA conference on November 7 – 8, 2026.
