class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-50300fb1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"50300fb1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>During the 2023 Singapore conference of the ASPOA region, two candidates were given honor as the recipients for the Archie Vinitsky Awards. They were <b>Ria Smeijers of the Netherlands<\/b> and <b>Dr. Harikesh Buch of India<\/b>. Although, both were unable to attend, they have given word and gratitude for the honor bestowed on them.<\/p><p>The said award is the highest accolade given to individuals who have dedicated their lives for the best interest of ostomates as what Archie Vinitsky did when he was alive.<\/p><p>The lead convener for ths year is Jon Thorkelsson of EOA along with Barry Maughan who was a previous awardee. The nomination includes too the following awards:<\/p><p>a. Archie Vinitsky Awards (given every three years)<\/p><p>b. IOA Professional Services Award now known as Harikesh Buich Professional Services Award.<\/p><p>c. 20 \u2013 40 Yound Adult Award now known as Linda Aukett Young Adult Award.<\/p><p>We hope that the ideals of Archie Vinitsky continue to live among many individuals who have given their lives for the welfare and rehabilitation of ostomates.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>By RSL<br
