(10-2014)<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-65320819 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"65320819\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>For the First time tonight the renamed IOA Professional services Award now called The IOA Dr Harikesh Buch Professional Service Award will be made.<\/p><p>This most deserving Awardee has a passion for helping others be it ostomy patients, their families or fellow medical professionals.<\/p><p>I have selected a few of the awardees achievements.<\/p><p>He has represented his country on ISO when discussing stoma care, continence irrigation and skin protection products.<\/p><p>He was actively involved with WCET when their conference was in his country as a member of the organising committee and Chaired the Congress.<\/p><p>His presence at many IOA and Asian conferences are noted where his focus has been on ostomy patient support.<\/p><p>In Asia, he has been a founder of ASSR and organised and hosted the 1st ASSR Conference and has continued this support.<\/p><p>In his own country his achievements in support of his fellow medical professionals are too many to list. He has published books on Stoma rehabilitation, opened stoma clinics, organised medical advice for all stoma associations in his country.
